During the last 20 years in Universities of Tartu and Uppsala, I gained experience in studying molecular mechanisms of different G protein coupled receptors functioning, with special attention to the system behaviour dynamics. Participate in the generation of different types of drug screening assays and biosensors. Last 10 years was deeply involved in the projects that apply optical microscopy techniques. Build-up and customized microscopes withdifferent fluorescent imaging modes (confocal, widefield and TIRF) for different types of measurement methods, like time- and frequency domain FLIM, TGL and FCS. Additionally enhanced those optical setups with super-resolution options – STED and localization microscopy.
