My scientific life started when I did my BSc in Applied Chemistry at Hawassa University, Ethiopia. After graduation, I had a chance to work in food complex and pharmaceutical industry before I received my MSc in protein science and biotechnology from University of Oulu, Finland. During my master studies and post-graduation, I worked in different research groups in the Faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine at the University of Oulu.
I joined Prof. Alireza research group to do my doctoral study, at the beginning of March 2018. My research interests are focusing on detection of surface extracellular vesicles using biosensing technologies, as well as developing a novel diagnostic biomarker for different diseases.
