We had our first international Researchers School

Our first international summer school “Basics to Work With Extracellular Vesicles” took place on May 21-24, 2019 in Tartu.

Summer School aims were to introduce the basic methods for working with Extracellular Vesicles (EVs). PhD studets went through all the steps to work with EVs starting from sample preparation and EV purification until the data analysis of different EV quality and quantity data. A series of seminars and hands-on training were prepared, thus a participant could have a thorough overview of different methods applicable at UT. The seminars and hands-on training were held by researchers and PhD students working on different EV projects under the ERA Chair of Translational Genomics at the University of Tartu. Additionally, at two experts from outside the UT were involved.

At last day, after a week of having an international research school on extracellular vesicles, the trainers and trainees enjoyed themselves with one day of cooking near the Lake Peipus in Estonia.
