TransGeno team took part of UKEV Forum 2018 in Sheffield on 11th of December.
UKEV Forum was the first meeting of the newly formed UK Society of Extracellular Vesicles (UKEV), following the success of five previous yearly forums. The event was very successful, gathering more than 220 EV scientists, students and other interested parties.
This year included talks from leaders in the field and also researchers early in their career about cutting edge extracellular vesicle research, encompassing aspects of detection, function, roles in health and disease, and therapeutic opportunities.
The keynote speakers were: Juan Falcon-Perez (Bilbao), Laura Ferraiulo (Sheffield) and Alain Brisson (Bordeaux).
In addition to the conference TransGeno group members were given an extensive tour in The University of Sheffield labs and also took part of master´s seminar.
