We are pleased to invite you to the summer school “Basics to Work with Extracellular Vesicles“ that will take place on May 11-13, 2020 in Tartu, Ravila 14B.

Summer School aims to introduce the basic methods for working with Extracellular Vesicles (EVs). The EV Summer School will go through all the steps to work with EVs starting from sample preparation and EV purification until the data analysis of different EV quality and quantity data. A series of seminars and hands-on training will be provided, thus a participant would have a thorough overview of different methods applicable at UT. The seminars and hands-on training will be held by researchers and PhD students working on different EV projects under the ERA Chair of Translational Genomics at the University of Tartu. Additionally, at least two experts from outside the UT will be involved. The outcome of this Summer School would be knowledge, which helps a student to plan and conduct a project to study EVs.

Summer School is open to 16 PhD / MSc students and researchers.

Completed course provides 1 ECTS credit point.

All participants need to prepare a 3-minute presentation on their current or future research project.

For PROGRAM please visit the researchers’ school webpage.

Participation is free of charge but the application is required.

Letters for application with CV and motivational letter are expected until 1st of April.

For registration and additional information please contact oliivika@ut.ee

The course will be conducted by the ERA Chair of Translational Genomics at the University of Tartu (European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No 668989).
