The first day focused on the topic of 3D Cell Culture and Bioprinting. The creation of tissue-like constructs in vitro requires the development and application of new approaches. Among the presenters were Dr. Joana P. Miranda from the University of Lisbon, Prof. Michael  Raghunath from Zurich University of Applied Sciences and Prof. Nicholas R. Leslie, Heriot Watt University.

The second day workshop was dedicated to intercellular epigenomics. In the meeting, different lectures gathered examples of cell to cell communication that potentially are involved with transfer of genomic materials from one cell to another cell that can affect the function and health of an individual. Among the acclaimed speakers were Dr. Mandy Peffers from the University of Liverpool, Dr Victoria James from theUniversity of Nottingham and Prof. Antonio Marcilla from the University of Valencia.

The ERA Chair of Translational Genomics would like to thank all participants for interesting discussions and presentations.
